Day 4

The near end

A tangle can only be worked from an end you can reach. Somewhere in this there is one small loosenable thing: a tone you could change, a fact you could check, a call you could return.

It will feel too small to matter, which is exactly the feeling that has kept it undone. Do it today anyway.

Begin

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Today’s petition

Mary, put my hands on the end of this that I can actually reach.

Add your own intention here, in your own words. It is not stored anywhere.

Close

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
