One knot
The devotion comes from a painting in Augsburg: Mary working a long white ribbon, patiently untying the knots in it while an angel feeds her one end and another angel draws the smoothed ribbon away. It is a picture of work rather than of rescue, and it is slow work.
Begin by choosing one knot. Not the whole tangle of your life, and not a list. One. Name it out loud today, and use the same name for the next eight days so you can tell at the end whether anything moved.
