Day 3
What you have actually tried
People in long family trouble are usually told to try things they have already tried for years: talk to them, set a boundary, be patient, get counselling.
Take stock honestly today. Some of it you have done to exhaustion. Some of it you have not really done and have been telling yourself you have. Both are worth knowing before you ask for anything.
Begin
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
Today’s petition
St. Rita, show me the difference between what I have genuinely tried and what I have only meant to.
Add your own intention here, in your own words. It is not stored anywhere.
Close
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
