Day 7
Anger, aimed properly
Michael is not a mascot for rage. In the imagery the dragon is under his foot and his expression is calm, which is the whole instruction.
Anger about an injustice is right. Anger that has become the point, that you would miss if the situation resolved, is something else, and today is for telling which one you have.
Begin
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and the other evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
Today’s petition
St. Michael, let my anger be aimed at the thing and not at everybody near it.
Add your own intention here, in your own words. It is not stored anywhere.
Close
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
