What this is and is not
One plain day in the middle. Most trouble is not demonic. Illness is illness, depression is depression, a difficult person is usually just difficult, and reading every hard thing as spiritual attack is a way of avoiding the ordinary help that would work.
Take the medication. Go to the therapist. Get the lawyer. Michael is not an alternative to any of them, and treating him as one is the failure mode of this devotion.
Begin
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and the other evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
