Your own part in it
In most conflicts there is one thing you did that made it worse, and it is usually small and usually early.
Naming it is not surrender. It is the difference between fighting the actual conflict and fighting a version of it in which you are entirely blameless.
Begin
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and the other evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
