Day 7

Those who venerate his mercy

The seventh day turns to the people who have made this devotion their own: the ones with the image in the hallway, praying the chaplet at three o'clock for years.

If that is your household, this is the day to pray for the others who do it.

Begin

Prayed on ordinary rosary beads. Begin: the Sign of the Cross, one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and the Apostles' Creed. On each large bead: Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world. On each of the ten small beads: For the sake of his sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. After five decades, three times: Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Today’s petition

For the people who have kept this devotion going quietly for decades.

Add your own intention here, in your own words. It is not stored anywhere.

Close

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
