Priests and religious
The second day is for the people through whom the sacraments actually reach anyone: the parish priest, the chaplain, the sisters nobody sees.
Pray for one by name. Most of them are prayed for as a category and by nobody in particular.
Begin
Prayed on ordinary rosary beads.
Begin: the Sign of the Cross, one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and the Apostles' Creed.
On each large bead:
Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.
On each of the ten small beads:
For the sake of his sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
After five decades, three times:
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Today’s petition
Pray for them by name, especially the tired ones.
