Day 6

The meek and humble, and little children

A day for the people with no leverage: children, the very old, the ones who are easy to overlook because they will not make a fuss.

The devotion puts them in the middle of the nine rather than at the end, which is itself the point.

Begin

Prayed on ordinary rosary beads. Begin: the Sign of the Cross, one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and the Apostles' Creed. On each large bead: Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world. On each of the ten small beads: For the sake of his sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. After five decades, three times: Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Today’s petition

For everyone in this with no leverage, and no way to make themselves heard.

Add your own intention here, in your own words. It is not stored anywhere.

Close

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
