Day 5
Those separated from the Church
The fifth day is for the ones who left. Every family has some, and the reasons are usually concrete rather than doctrinal: something happened, or somebody said something, or nobody noticed when they stopped coming.
Pray without the assumption that the fault was theirs.
Begin
Prayed on ordinary rosary beads.
Begin: the Sign of the Cross, one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and the Apostles' Creed.
On each large bead:
Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.
On each of the ten small beads:
For the sake of his sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
After five decades, three times:
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Today’s petition
For the ones who left, and for the door being open when they look at it again.
