A Holy Hour
The request that came with the devotion was practical: an hour. Not a technique or a state of mind, just staying in one place for sixty minutes.
If there is a church open near you this week, go. If there is not, sit for an hour at home with nothing else running. Most people find the hour itself is the difficulty, which is the information.
Begin
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of thy faithful, and kindle in them the fire of thy love.
V. Send forth thy Spirit, and they shall be created.
R. And thou shalt renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray. O God, who hast taught the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant that in the same Spirit we may be truly wise, and ever rejoice in his consolation, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Sacred Heart, help me stay the whole hour, including the part where nothing happens.
