Day 12

Tuesday twelve: preparing to stop

Next week is the last one, and long devotions often end badly: either abandoned a week early, or extended indefinitely because stopping feels like giving up.

Decide today how you will end it, and whether anything continues afterward.

Begin

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Today’s petition

St. Anthony, help me finish this properly rather than letting it fray.

Add your own intention here, in your own words. It is not stored anywhere.

Close

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
